MARRIAGE CONFERENCES

We believe the local church is much stronger with healthy thriving marriages.  Healthy marriages enable members of the church to be contributors in many ways.  However, with the divorce rate in the church at nearly 50%, churches are experiencing the effects of this in costly ways.  When a marriage is in trouble, it affects every part of your church.  Because the children of troubled marriages are now encountering stress and instability at home, they present unique challenges in the children’s department.  This is most often escalated in the behaviors of youth, creating challenging situations for your youth leaders.  In addition to this, couples who are struggling in their marriages often move from being contributors in the church to consumers.  If the marriage fails, then generally either the husband or wife and sometimes both will leave the church.  The price that churches are paying is way too high.  We want to help!

At Bridge Builder Marriage Ministry, we are called to come alongside the local church.  It is our mission to bring biblically based teaching and everyday tools that a couple can use to bring growth and even restoration in their marriage.  We have several ways to do that.  

  • We provide a 1, 2, or 3-day marriage conference to your church.  In these fun and interactive conferences we will teach 2 to 4 sessions providing tools and techniques that can be implemented right away to help each couple begin to take their marriage to the next level.  Each conference package provides the following:

  1. DIGITAL GRAPHICS specific to your church’s conference that you can use in your announcements, your social media, and printed materials.  

  2. PROMOTION of your conference on our website and social media.

  3. SIGNAGE for your conference.

  4. A PACKET for each couple that contains a conference workbook, a 14-devotional specifically designed for your conference, pens, and information about Bridge Builder Marriage Ministry.

While a marriage conference is great and gives the couples a great way to help take their marriage to the next level, we also recognize that many couples need additional follow up. As an additional bonus, we will also come to your church after our conference and do a 1-day training of your leaders on how to lead our Brick by Brick marriage curriculum. Brick by Brick is an 8-week training that covers these topics: a God-centered marriage, his needs, her needs, sex, money, conflict resolution, family culture, and affair-proofing your marriage. The leaders guide and training is free. The books that accompany this training are available for purchase through our ministry.  

Additionally, we love to provide marriage coaching to pastors and their wives. Having been in ministry and having children who are in ministry, we have a unique perspective of the tolls that ministry can take on a marriage. Our desire is to help pastors and ministry leaders have healthy marriages that help them fulfil the call of God on their lives.

Melisa is also available to speak at your next women’s event.  She is available as both a keynote and/or breakout session speaker.  She has a passion to see women fulfill their God-given purpose, plan, and destiny.  Through sound biblical teaching, lots of humor and transparency, your women will enjoy learning more about themselves and a personal and vibrant relationship with God.
